1. County-Provided Voter Data: We receive voter registration information from the County, which includes names, addresses, phone numbers, and voting history. This data is provided to us to facilitate voter engagement for the Jorge Nuño 2026 campaign.
2. User-Submitted Contact Information: When individuals voluntarily provide their contact information through our app or campaign materials, we collect and store that information only for campaign communication purposes.
Data Usage
Your voter information is used exclusively for:
• Sending campaign-related SMS messages and phone calls via Twilio
• Logging contact history and voter engagement records within our campaign app
• Tracking voter responses and outcomes (e.g., support level, donation interest)
• Campaign analysis and volunteer coordination
We will not use your data for any other purpose or effort beyond this campaign.
Data Sharing
Your voter data is not shared with third parties, except as necessary for campaign operations:
• Twilio: We use Twilio to send SMS messages and manage phone communications. Twilio processes phone numbers and message content according to their privacy practices.
• Campaign Staff & Volunteers: Only authorized campaign team members have access to voter data as needed for outreach activities.
Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with external organizations, political parties, or other campaigns.
Data Retention
We retain voter data for the duration of the Jorge Nuño 2026 campaign. After the campaign concludes, voter data will be securely deleted unless you have opted in to receive future communications or have requested to retain your information.
Your Rights & Opt-Out
You have the right to:
• Opt Out of SMS: Reply STOP to any campaign text message to unsubscribe from SMS communications
• Opt Out of Calls: Request to be removed from our call list by contacting the campaign directly
• Request Deletion: Contact us to request that your information be deleted from our system
• Access Your Data: Request to see what information we have collected about you
